Our Client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with exceptional communication skills and high energy.  In a fast-paced environment, this position performs the functional and system level design and development of customized integrated voice solution.

The position requires the candidate to interface cross-functionally with other departments.  It also requires effective communication (both written and oral) and problem solving skills.  The candidate must be results oriented with a resolve for a high degree of quality, while balancing that resolve with a commitment to an on-time delivery.  It is also required that the candidate is knowledgeable of all aspects of the engineering process including requirements specification, design, development, test, documentation, and maintenance. 

Responsibilities:
•    Effective participation in all technical aspects of the customized software engineering effort to develop highly effective software solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
•    Implementing solutions using a variety of structured and object-oriented tools, including Java, SQL, and other graphical and report generation tools.
•    Communicating development issues to management for both design and scheduling purposes, participating effectively in the design process and software development life cycle in a team environment, and taking ownership of previously existing software.
•    Handling several concurrent tasks and meeting scheduled milestones for each.
•    Interfacing with internal customers and technical support team in a high-energy environment.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
•    BS Computer Science or equivalent.
•    2 to 5 years of software development experience.
•    Working knowledge of Hibernate or similar object-relational mapping experience.
•    Working knowledge of web application development using Java based technologies such as JSP, Servlets, Spring, Enterprise Java Beans, etc.
•    Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of multi-tier web applications.
•    Attention to detail along with the ability to communicate clearly, verbally, and in writing.
•    Proven people skills with an emphasis on teamwork.
•    Demonstrable ability to work independently.
•    Experience with software development projects resulting in successful product deliveries.
