Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
-Develops new software and modifies existing software for ISC Department Managers
-Develops new features and/or bug fixes in existing software
-Follows ISC Software Development SOP to deliver software on time
-Writes functional specifications
-Performs QA drops and Interacts with software QA to complete testing
-Collaborates with other software developers in solving complex technical problems
-Interacts with users and business analysts to gather requirements or understand business problems
-Works independently but under the guidance of more senior software developers
Qualifications Required:
-B.S. in Computer Science or related field
-1 – 5 years experience in corporate software development
-1 – 5 years experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NET
-SQL skills
-Object Oriented Design and Analysis skills
-UML experience
-Database design experience including the use of ER Diagrams
Additional Qualifications, preferred but not required
-Java development experience
-Unix experience
-SQLServer or DB2 experience
-MS Certification
